Hurricane Katrina Concert

I would like to announce something that I was not sure would happen. Like all of you, after hearing about Katrina, I began to ponder what I could do to help. I am in a unique position because I have a band and therefore am in the public eye a bit more than most. I started talking with people in the community to determine the interest in some type of event, and brought it up with Berman Events, the band's agent. I wanted to do something big; something that everyone could get involved with. So, with a lot of help from Berman and support from many other people, this is what we came up with.

Kol Haruach Klezmer Band, Berman Events and Tikvat Israel Congregation are pleased to announce that the concert to benefit victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita was a rousing sucess. 

100% of all proceeds generated went to the following three charities:
America's Second Harvest, Mazon and Habitat for Humanity .
