The Kol Haruach Band is known across the country and in Europe for their original klezmer-jazz style, their diverse repertoire, and for their ability to not only keep the party going, but to get everybody up and dancing.

Israeli, klezmer, jazz, swing, and rock & roll: Not your typical klezmer and dance band, Kol Haruach is a band that plays parties, private galas, weddings, bar mitzvahs, festivals and other special events and festivities. We are well known for our unique klezmer, Israeli and "klezmer-jazz" styles, where we perform jazz and swing together with our klezmer repertoire and play the klezmer with a jazz or swing style. However, we do a whole lot more than that. We are an unusually eclectic band, with repertoire that spans from Israeli, to swing, jazz, and yes, even rock & roll. Listen to sound samples.

Dance instruction, and interaction with the crowd: Does your guest list include those who might not be as familiar with Israeli or klezmer music? Are you looking for dance instruction or games to entertain at a kids party? We can provide a professional dance instructor/game leader for just these occasions. Don't forget to ask us about these options!

With that said, do you like Israeli and klezmer music? Do you like to dance? Do you like dance jazz and swing? Would you like rock & roll to be included in the mix at your party? What we do is up to you. We are a very, very eclectic band that plays a wide variety of music that will get everyone on your guest list up and dancing, regardless of age or background. We can be a straight forward klezmer band and stick strictly to that genre, or we can broaden the package to play a diverse repertoire that includes klezmer, jazz and rock & roll. This is completely up to you!

Experience with the repertoire: Our experience and versatility is obvious when you consider that the members of the Kol Haruach Band also play together as a group called Just Jazz, and other band members play as part of The Nexus Rock Band and The Jazz Connection. And yes, we have performed many an event where we have played a bit of everything in order to engage everybody in the room! We have found that this diversity is very effective both at weddings and at Bar Mitzvahs.

Our performances are interactive and create a festive, contagious atmosphere. People have such a great time at our public concerts; many who hear us invite us to perform for their private galas, weddings, and bar mitzvahs. Regardless of the venue, with our diverse repertoire, we keep the party going!
