| Estelle Deutsch Abraham WJW Review Read below to see what Estelle Deutsch Abraham, music reviewer for the Washington Jewish Week and host of Jewish Community Radio, had to say about Kol Haruch Klezmer Band and the Klezmer Cafe in her November 11, 2004 article in the Washington Jewish Week. Musicians from the Kol Haruach Klezmer Band -- Were we in a Russian café in Moscow, a restaurant in Budapest or a gathering place in Tel Aviv Dizengoff? All of the above. We were in fact, at the Tel Aviv Café in Bethesda, enjoying the varied and versatile performances of the musicians from the Kol Haruach Klezmer Band. “We came out for a falafel and salad,” said Tara Lubin, there with her friend Matt Garfinkle. “We were welcomed with music.” It was Wednesday evening and Lubin found the surprise dinner music “good for digestion.” It also, she added, was “a great prelude for my upcoming trip to Israel.” Kol Haruach and the management of Tel Aviv Café are collaborating on several ideas to bring the welcome sound of music together with dinner. A warming thought for this fall and the coming winter months – bring the family out for great music, good food and perhaps dancing on a Sunday evening coming soon. You will, for a short time, feel you have visited Israel."
